Our Vessel, APEX
APEX was built in 2020 by shipwright Donnie Caison. She is a Carolina-style sportfisher that boasts a comfortable, dry ride in any seas. Her Seakeeper limits the roll of the boat to 5 degrees even when in rough seas. Powered with environmentally-friendly Tier 4 Caterpillar C18’s, APEX effortlessly cruises at 37 knots.
The salon is kept cool by 5 independent A/C units. Inside you will find all the luxuries of home, including two bathrooms, fridge and freezer, large couches and dinette, 4 bunks and a master berth. The cockpit is spacious with mezzanine seating, A/C and a Release fighting chair. The bridge has ample seating for 6 passengers, and an unobstructed view of the pattern.
Our Crew
Captain Cyrus and Captain Russ have a combined experience of 40 years fishing in Kona waters. Whether trolling for giant blue marlin, or switching a timid spearfish to a fly, both captain and mate work together to catch that fish of a lifetime.
